It would be more helpful if you stop banging your head, put some ice on it, calm down, and tell us what operations you performed to put the samples on the pads. Select them in Sample List and "assign to pads" or "create rhythm kit"? Did you WRITE the the pad kit after doing so? Did you WRITE the samples to the storage memory as well?

naw, I lost them. It seems to crash when I choose "create rhythm set."

Seeing as im the dumbest person on this forum
when did version 2.10 OS come out for the Fantom X?
how do i check which version i have?
i have the X8 Model

and how do i backup EVERYTHING onto the CF Card, so that after loading 2.10 i can then reload everything back on as it was?

i only use my X8 for Live Use, will i get any benefits from the newer version?
or is it just for people who do a lot more with theirs?

what an idiot i am!
should have checked that ages ago..

oh, 1 more thing, i want to download ALL the XV-5080 sounds somehow..
i have a 512MB CF Card in my X8
can i dump all the sounds onto that and then they will be on my X8 ?

I dont use USB mode at all, i have a card reader on my PC
is this a better option for me?

You can only access 256 from user and 256 from card.

where do i put these sounds once i have downloaded them from the internet..
