considering buying vsynth

Post by jkadry »

Hi this is my first post on here so please be nice. Im a beginner but a quick learner. anyways... i plan on purchasing a v-synth this weekend. Just wondering if im going to get my moneys worth. also I heard its discontinued does that mean there wont be any updates or plugins of any kind for it in the future? And if there is anything else I should know before buying the v-synth. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You can check the preview version of the V-Synth TweakBook and also listen to the mp3 demo: http://sinevibes.com/media/publications ... B_demo.mp3. This will show you some nice sounds you'll be able to make on the V. And yes, it is worth every cent/penny/kopeyka/you@name.it, because it is very deep and very capable.

personally i think there will be no further updates for the v-synth os. but i think there will be a new card (vc3) for it available sometime.

as a longtime user of a k5000 or the fs1r for example, i think the v-synth is not very deep when it come to programming. but that does not mean that you couldn´t do some nice deep sounds with it. using own samples in the v is the key....
