How would I go about upgrading to version 2 of the OS? Version 2 literally came out like a week or 2 after I bought my Fantom, so I'm still using version 1. However, I don't see it for sale on Roland's website anymore.
It's there for the keyboards, but I don't see it for the rack.
And do I have to get it from Roland, or is it legal to get it somewhere else (for free)?

I had the same issue with my X8.. The OS upgrade came out a few weeks after i purchsed my workstation.. I gave Roland a call and complained as i would have waited before purchasing..
2 weeks later a parcel arrived with the new OS for free..(great customer service)
It may be worth giving them a call and i am sure they will accomodate
