Finally couldn't handle the pressure and caved in--should be here in 2 days. I was planning on buying one, but just like Argh, just not right now! But from the sound of some of those lead patches on it, I can hardly wait to see what this thing can do--just wanted to say thanks to all you guys for giving everyone the heads-up regarding it's discontinuity!

Well, Roland Canada says they still have stock

... but they curiously didn't say "VC-2 is definitely not discontinued"; so I'm still not sure if this is true. However, I didn't want to take any chances, so my VC-2 is on the way :-p.

See, Roland's onto something -- limited edition VCards are like those Magic or Pokemon cards... gotta catch 'em all.

Hopefully VC-3 won't be out until my wallet recovers..

Just bought the VC2 card without any problems...

Dear members of the V-tribe forum,

I hope you would not mind another newbie to join the thread. I must apologize that I do not own the V-synth, but I do have a Roland Varios with the VC cards in my closet. :)

I thought it would be relevant to add, that I purchased the VC2 card lately and I did not have any issues with availability. So my case does not verify your worries. But I am happy to have the card in my hands, in case the shit happens.

I bought the card in Latvia (that’s where I come from), and I can provide the website of the shop if you are interested. I am not sure if it is possible to order anything on-line, though. The address is: www.yoursound.lv.

Best wishes,
Raimonds

V card availability

I had difficulty in obtaining a VC2 in uk.

Also have just picked up a VC1 for £39 on e bay from a well known UK retailer - so there seems some truth in this !!

due to a gig I haven't had time to try it yet (hopefully this weekend). I ordered mine from www.8thstreet.com, if anyone is worried try ordering one from there.
