How many?

Post by zer0to »

The V-Synth style reminds me just a bit the Yamaha VL1. only the VL1 was hell to edit (at least for me) sadly I had to sell my VL1 long time ago.

I was wounding how many V`s Roland have sold. Is there a way to get this information?

I love the vl1. There is still nothing out there quite like it. It would be great if Roland would include a couple of physical models for oscs. A simple Karpus-strong string would not take much dsp... Wishful thinking...... (Though you can get something near one putting impulses into the comb filters)

I spoke to a roland rep at roland UK HQ last year who said their biggest seller in the uk was the v-drum stuff. I don't think the v-synth sells that many, but I wonder how many the Roland V-Accordion sells? Probably more than the v-synth, knowing how weird the world market is. It's very cool, but a little expensive for me though.

Expensive... yes, but do you remember the price of the VL1 when it came out?
now that was expensive.
