to make trance music

Post by jef_citron »

i'd like make trance music like this :
http://d.j-f.perso.cegetel.net/trance1.mp3
http://d.j-f.perso.cegetel.net/trance2.mp3
http://d.j-f.perso.cegetel.net/trance3.mp3

I have a Fantom FA-76 and I have difficulties to make the sounds I love

Do you think that a SRX card can help me ?

or do you think that I should buy another gear ?
or do you think that it's only a question of work on my FA76 ?

thank you very much for your answers

Hi jef, no wonder you got problems with your Fa-76 making the sounds you like. The trance examples you provided require more then just the FA-76. However, you could use the SRX Extreme Dance for the Kits, but to produce the arpeggios you need a VA. It think its a Nord Lead and a Supernova in the mp3's.

man the tracks are ok but thr problem isnt the equipment u use...
u dont choose the right sounds for it..
try listening to Ronski Speed - E.O.S. (Club Mix).mp3
the sounds he using they have almost no difrence from vst's.
the problems is that u schoose the wrong sounds for ur mixes//
i have a friend usin nothin but vst's and achivin great overall sound.just try changin it.to the sounds ronski used in his.
and try use a vst's with the synth.

Hey M_P,
That was a great link. After listening to a few of Ronski's demos, I clicked on "Home" and went nuts over the variety and breadth of UK dance sound demos available. Love it. In case anyone is interested, here is a link to JunoRecordsUk:

Cheers,
Eric
