HELP PLEAS!

Look ima get strait to the point this tha one and only phase one of phase productions im having a lil trouble i need you guys to help me out with i have a fantom-s i had it for about 8 months but i still can't figure out why i can't save samples on my user sample list but i can save on my card when you go to sample list ther are three diffrent list you can go to Preset,User,Card there is nothing on my user list but it wont let me save on it please help me out thankyou.

No disrespect young sir but this is a multi-national forum and even I as an Englishman am having trouble understanding sections of your english in the form you present it. There are many knowledgeable members here, a large number of which speak english as a second language. I recommend you try to stick as closely to formal English as you can in order to encourage a wider response to your question and therefore secure a truly helpful answer...

You need a Compact Flash Card - 512Mb preferrable, and a PCMCIA type 2 card adapter and your problem will be solved.
The Fantom's internal memory (User) does not have enough sampling space by itself to sample even a short song.

can a Fantom-S take 512Mb cards?

i was under the impression that it can't take more than 128, but i may be wrong. if i am, i wasted a lot of money on 3, 128 cards.

Ok. It is possisble to store a sample in user memory by calling it up from the SmartMedia Card and loading it. Simply select WRITE then, making sure "sample" is highlighted, press enter. This will bring you to a page where you may name your sample. Do this then press F8 (write) and you will see a screen offering the option to write to card or user. Press F2 to select user and enter to confirm.

A word of caution though... user memory can fill up pretty quickly and you will be refused this option should there be insufficient space remaining.

Didn't know about the S being limited to only 128Mb of SmartMedia card usage. My Xa only has 16Mb of User memory - sufficient for data SVQ storage, but not for sampling to WAV audio storage. 16Mb will only get about 2 1/2 minutes of stereo sampling.

As you probably noticed, a lot of us already understood your problem but you sure kicked off any will of answering.
Now let's try from the beggining. We are just asking for you to take a lilttle more atention on your writing. It's not a "MUST". It's more like a "We would like you to... please". This will certanly give you more answers and will help other users having the same problem.
