I can't believe it! I now have the money for my FX7 that I have wanted for ever. So I go up to my local GC to pick it up and they are out!! Not one in any metro Detroit area store, not even a demo. What a let down I have planned this day forever. The guy at GC said they are starting to sell more FX now. Anyway I put down 25% and it will be in in about 3 weeks he said. 2200$ out the door, good price?

Not bad, but I picked my X7 up from bpmmusic.com in February 2005 and paid $1986 out the door, which includes shipping and no tax since I'm not in CO. Just think--you could take that extra $200 and buy a SRX card.

I got a similar quote from BPM Music. I've done business with them before and they've been pretty good. Also, I don't think you'd have to wait for three weeks to get it. You might have to wait a week, at the most.

online shopping is always better for me. that is if the company is not in your home state. You will find a better deal and have it sooner than 3 weeks. I got my X6 in about 4 days from American Musical. Again buy it online alot of E-tailers give you an extra year warranty. Anybody who has had equipment break on them before knows that you get raked over the coals for repairs.
