never so far. have you expanded the memory? do you have any SRX cards installed? any smartmedia cards in the slot? any llightening storms recently or static in that room? How long have you had it? Contact the dealer as well.

Pure, as sami points, maybe it's a matter of some
card you plugged into the X: most likely, a not 100%
compatible (or defective) RAM stick.

yea the Memory is 128, i have one card the supreme dance but maybe i should trade it in or something for a newer FS
Re: Fantom Froze
Try removing both the RAM and the card and see if the Fantom continues to freeze. If not, then put the expansion card back in and try for a while to see if it freezes. If it still doesn't freeze, then the RAM was the cause. If it begins to freeze again after installing the expansion card, the card is defective (or there is a problem with the Fantom's expansion slot) and I'd suggest trying a different expansion slot or replacing the expansion card.

Re: Fantom Froze
One possible reason for freezing is heat, do you have your fantom near a heat source?
I don't see it impossible for the fantom control chip to freeze due to overheating. They don't have heatspreaders or fans in keyboards afterall, or it could be damaged or shoddy components.

Re: Fantom Froze
Sometimes my fantom gets stuck when Media Card is pluged in and I'm starting my workstation. I have to remove it, turn Fantom on and put Media Card in.
