Hey Dawa

Post by Mr Layz »

I make beats how I'm feeling at the moment.... I'm a MPC recieptient also so my X7 is a little hard to grasp but Im catching on slowly but surely. I use the pads at all times cause I cant play no keys at all. I maybe able to make a nice rhythm but it aint going to be complicated....

Hey Dansgold....
Thanks for the akai site.... I'll check it out and trust me I wont sleep on it. What I need to find out is how to load sounds or samples via USB so that I can use the drum kits....

Mr. Lays,
I take a simalar approach, I too make music based on moods (feelings). My stand point is if a CD has all songs with the same feelling, you'll grow tired of hereing it. But if that same CD has tracks with different moods on it, then 1 day you might listen to tracks 1-7-11-15, another day you'll listen to 2-8-10-12 so on and so on.

Its nice to see someone who puts their foot into their music....

I sold my MPC 2000 and I am now in the market for a Fantom X to replace it. I want to do some hip hop by taking parts from other songs, trim it just right, loop it, and sync it along with other parts. But you are scaring me by saying that the sequence part “sucks” in FX. What do you mean by that and are you having just as much success with the FX as you did with the MPC?
