Setting RPU-3 Pedals to match an acoustic piano?
Setting RPU-3 Pedals to match an acoustic piano?
Is it possible on the Fantom to adjust the 3 pedals on the RPU-3 unit to resemble the pedals of an acoustic piano, while playing the V-Piano?

Re: Setting RPU-3 Pedals to match an acoustic piano?
Hello,
yes, of course. I have 2 x RPU-3 Pedals ( 2nd one found very cheap and just bought it)
I can't remember the CC's though for each pedal. Check Roland Support with Ed Diaz, he explains it in one of the videos...pedal connections.
Sustain on the far right pedal should already be set. You need to set the middle to sostenuto, and the far left to soft.
By the way the middle pedal when used with many of the Model synths activates the filter control.
Regards
Vas.

Thank you. Couldn't find that video unfortunately - if you have a link that would be great.BillySynth wrote: ↑23:46, 11 September 2021 Hello,

Eveything can be configured as you need it, but for the HOLD/R than can only operate as such.
Yes, the functions operated by the pitch bend/modulation lever and the HOLD/R jack are fixed. This means that there is no setting screen for their assignments. So [SHIFT+pressing] that pedal or [SHIFT+moving] that lever wil not trigger any screen for you to change their assignment. On the contrary, that will happen to the other pedals and is an easy way to configure them.
And which pedal is HOLD/R ? Any that you plug into the HOLD/R jack.
