Power Cable

Post by Doghouse65 »

Is the FA power cable the same as other Roland boards eg Juno Stage / DS / Jupiter etc? Im just wondering if I need to buy a spare or use one of my existing power cables for a back up.

ATTENTION! The Roland Power Supplies are not all the same. Some have the +Pole inside, other ones outside. Important is also, that you buy a device with the correct Ampere-Number!
Best ist, to buy the Original (today it´s called Roland PSB-230 EU, it is about 30€).

Hi, the FA uses the PSB-1U and it's used on many Roland models which don't take a lot of power (e.g. the pianos with built-in speakers). It's the same one used on the Octapad and I think my old 300nx was the same one too.

It also works on my Brother P-Touch so I saved buying one for that :) :) :)

Yes, they have many different models but a lot of them used the PSB-1U. The PSB-230 is the 1U with your country's mains supply cable also included, the 1U is just the block to the keyboard if that makes sense.
