Just bought new X8 and am VERY happy with it!

Well, I have finally bought my new Fantom X8 ( my first synth ). I also bought 4 expansion cards, extreme dance, platinum trax, orchestra, and ultimate keys.. All i have to say about that is that I absolutely love it! and comparing my new set-up to any of Korgs stuff... Who's Korg???? hehehe

But seriously, I am very happy with my new toy, I checked all the issues out with it before I bought it and all is 100% fine. You can check the mainboard problem with roland by quoting them the serial number of the keyboard and they will then tell you if it has the bug or not,, as mine only came out of the factory 1 week earlier, it is the latest most up to date version and Im satisfied..

I cant wait to play it again when i get home today..

Hey, well thanks. I know my synth is problem free. Well in Australia I couldnt afford the X8 but then I came accross a sale for airfares to Hong Kong that were VERY cheap, so I bought one, flew over there and bought an X8. I love it!!!

The expansion boards are about $350 AUD in Hong Kong. I have made a very good contact at the store, and anything i want they will send to me C.O.D.

I've also got an X8 maxed out with symphonic strings, complete orchestra, dynamic drums and big brass and it's fantastic! Kicks the korg extreme very hard indeed......

Couldn't import here in the UK, even though I could have got cheaper, have to pay import tax which didn't make it worth while.

I'm looking forward to trying the new access virus ti, anybody else heard one yet? I need to have a synth action keyboard to aid organ and drum programming etc.
