Planet X, new sound library for Fantom-S, Fantom-X and Juno-

Post by Artemiy »

Dear everybody,

I am happy to unveil a new sound library for Fantom-S, Fantom-X and Juno-G: Planet X.

Image

The basic idea behind Planet X was to do as much as possible with this synth engine, making lush and gorgeous sounds that sound great even without effects. There are many patches you will love, including pads, basses, synths, leads and new, simply magic motion sounds that are a blast to play.

Planet X is fully compatible with Fantom-S/S88, Fantom-X6/7/8, Fantom-XR, Fantom-Xa and Juno-G, and comes in all SVD, Librarian and MIDI file formats. There are 80 patches but there will be free updates of course just like with our previous Planet series releases.

You can download the user manual (with the sound list) and hear a sound demo here:

Best wishes,

Artemiy.

Planet F V X, tweakbook

Post by tolgay »

I am interested in the megapack which includes the Planet X,V,F and the tweakbook. I am using a Juno G now but will upgrade later to an Fantom X or possible wait and upgrade to a X replacement.

I have the following questions

1. Are these seperate files
2. How big is the sizes for each set for download purposes
3. Once I download them, I guess I can burn them onto a CD right?
4. If there is a problem during the download, can I download again
5. The patches in each of these sets, are they all different and unique..
6. Do I need the tweakbook, what is the purpose of tweak book
7. Can I use these sets on Juno G and Fantom X at the same time?
8. Will I get the updates free
9. What is the package price, any promos
10. And finally, if fantom X is replaced with a new keyboard, will these be compatible with that keyboard or will you provide a replacement set for the new keyboard?

Sorry for all these questions. Just need to know before purchasing,

If you'd like you can e-mail me as well at ttkmike@yahoo.com

Thanks

Hello!

1. Not sure what you mean here. But yes all libraries are separate.

2. Well about 60 MB in total. Planet V takes 50 alone (it has a big waveform set).

3. Yes, sure.

4. Yes, anytime, even after 3 years.

5. Of course!

6. You get over 50 articles and you can learn how to use your Fantom or Juno-G in many interesting ways. But the TweakBook also comes with about 200 patches, so it's like an additional library.

7. Yes, but Planet V is compatible only with Fantom-X (Juno-G does not support multisamples).

8. Yes.

9. The price for the Fantom MegaPack is $69, that is 40% off the total price, consider it a full-time promo (a single library usually costs like this, you get four).

10. None of the synths on the market from different manufacturers are compatible, except for the samples. However, we always have offers for people who owns something from Sinevibes, so yes you'll be able to get a "cross-grade".

I hope this helps!

Well thanks for the fast response. All of your answers are very clear for me except the last one.

Just to clarify,

If Roland comes out with a fantom replacement say Fantom Z, will this 4 library set be compatible with it (may not be due to sound engine differences) or if it isnot compatible will you be able to come up with a replacement package for the new Z and provide/offer it to us who own this megapack as free.

In case I skip the Fantom X stay with my Juno G and later buy the new Fantom, I would like to know whether I have to buy a new second megapack designed for the new fantom keyboard or you will provide one as free. That's all I am trying to find out..

Hopefully what I am trying to say is clear

And where can buy this set by the way..

Thx

No problem tolgay!
If Roland comes out with a fantom replacement say Fantom Z, will this 4 library set be compatible with it
I can't even guess what Roland R&D has on it's mind! But if they will be backwards compatible, you will be able to load the libraries.
or if it isnot compatible will you be able to come up with a replacement package for the new Z and provide/offer it to us who own this megapack as free.
Again, I cannot tell you about the future because it's not up to me but up to Roland and what kind of synths they will have in the future and whether I'll be able to have or lend them. All I can say is we are always generous to people who own many of our products, you can be sure you will always be satisfied.

You can get it here: http://sinevibes.com/soundware/planet-x/ (click on the Fantom Mega Pack at the bottom of the page).

Feel free to remove the "extended download" thing from the order (you can always contact me for re-downloads and it's free).

i just bought the entire mega pack (great discount btw) and am fully impressed and satisfied with the sounds.

i got a text from my partner who was at the studio at the time and all it said was: "we needed these sounds". we do commercial production and personally find myself gravitating towards these banks more and more. i hesitated on a testimonial as producers can get greedy with their sources sometimes hahah... but arte has been a champ about everything.

go buy em!

Hi,
Is there a new link where the patches for Planet X and Planet F for the Juno-G can be previewed?
The link in this thread no longer works.
Thanks
