Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Contrary to what was previously said here, IT IS VERY POSSIBLE TO HAVE DRUM SOUNDS INSIDE THE JD-XA AND USE THEM WITH THE SEQUENCER! @NICK BATT: BE A TREASURE AND AN ANGEL AND SHOWCASE THE FOLLOWING PROCEEDINGS IN PART 2 OF YOUR JD-XA REVIEW AT SONIC STATE.
According to Synthtopia, “the JD-Xa engine is compatible with the synth engine from the INTEGRA-7 sound module. This allows users to take advantage of the large library of custom INTEGRA-7 sounds, available for free at Roland’s Axial website.”

THIS IS HUGE!
Simply go to

Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Thanks mate!
I was already aware that the JD-XA was compatible with the Integra 7 sounds. What I didn't know was that the library contained drum sounds. The drum sounds will add a very nice compliment to the sequencer. I have a Roland Aira TR-8 but I haven't yet connected it to the little beast.

Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Of course JDXa can synthesize drum sounds. It is, after all, a synthesizer.
Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Yeah, sure, feel free to synthesize your fart sounds /facepalm. In case you missed it: there´s absolutely no way to synthesize an official-sounding house kit with the JD-Xa! I want quality rhythm tones inside the JD-Xa in order to use them in conjunction with the on-board pattern sequencer!
An open letter to Roland:
Dear Mr. Jun-ichi Miki, CEO and Representative Director,
dear Mr. Kazuya Yanase, COO and Director
dear Mr. Yoshihiro Ikegami, Director,
dear Mr. Brian K. Heywood, Director,
dear Mr. Kenichi Sakurai, Director,
dear Mr. Isao Minabe, Director,
dear Mr. Masato Makino, Audit & Supervisory Board Member,
what´s up, Roland folks? I hope the weather is fine in Hamamatsu. Mercifully, the pattern of prevailing winds during the Fukushima accident meant that most of the radioactive materials released from the plant were blown out to sea. So thank God Hamamatsu was spared from the fallout. Here´s the thing: please do us a favour and make the following Integra-7 factory presets available for JD-Xa customers on your Axial website. Should be a snap. We--your loyal fanboys--deserve this kind of reward, don´t you think?

Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Pedro, you don't own a JDXi and you don't own a JDXA, and from the non-sense that you have spouted out before ..you have no intention of getting either, so what is up with your obsession with the 2 and what they have or don't have???
I will guess that Roland doesn't give a rats ass what your demands are!!!
I would suggest that you have a gigantic warm steaming cup of S.T.F.U.

Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
This just sums it up for me. But now that Pedro has found ready-made presets, there's hope he might be able to eek out a derivative EDM track to impress his friends. We're rootin' for you, Pedro. You can do et!Yeah, sure, feel free to synthesize your fart sounds /facepalm. In case you missed it: there´s absolutely no way to synthesize an official-sounding house kit with the JD-Xa! I want quality rhythm tones inside the JD-Xa in order to use them in conjunction with the on-board pattern sequencer!

You are making the assumption that Pedro has friends? Anyone who makes a flippant comment about the nuclear tragedy that occurred from an earthquake and tsunami in Japan where hundreds and hundreds of people died and lost their homes and somehow Roland was spared by a merciful wind and that Roland owes us JDXi drums for the JDXA because of that..... is someone to serioulsy avoid, but that's just me?what´s up, Roland folks? I hope the weather is fine in Hamamatsu. Mercifully, the pattern of prevailing winds during the Fukushima accident meant that most of the radioactive materials released from the plant were blown out to sea. So thank God Hamamatsu was spared from the fallout. Here´s the thing: please do us a favour and make the following Integra-7 factory presets available for JD-Xa customers on your Axial website. Should be a snap. We--your loyal fanboys--deserve this kind of reward, don´t you think?

LOL, You are so correct on that assumption Devnor!Devnor wrote:It's based on the notion that misery loves company.

For the avoidance of doubt: Who was the person who yesterday broke the news at Sonic State, Synthtopia and here about JD-Xa´s ability to house INTERNAL drum sounds? That was me. Stop getting on my nerves, you bunch of losers. Thank me instead.

Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Oh dear, Pedro forgot to take his medicine..
Again.
Again.
Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Although you can theoretically load any Integra-7 Supernatural "Drum" sounds to JD-Xa like you load any other SN-S tone, the JD-Xa does not have the six COMP + EQ processors like the integra has on Part 10, the results would never be the same...but can be playable...as a guide maybe...never as a serious thing. I'll give you that.pedro89 wrote:For the avoidance of doubt: Who was the person who yesterday broke the news at Sonic State, Synthtopia and here about JD-Xa´s ability to house INTERNAL drum sounds? Regarding the Thanks...
Well...thank you what?
- the always provocative way to stay here?
- the insults to other people?
- Where did you learn how to behave like that? in other forums?
- Have you any idea of the Monstrosity that you just said about Fukushima to the Roland guys (provided you really did it...)?
Grow up
Re: Thanks to my findings, THE JD-XA PROVIDES DRUM SOUNDS!!!
Have you tried downloading the drum sounds? No, you haven´t! Stop speculating!the results would never be (...) a serious thing.
Oh, don´t give me that monstrosity bull! Cut it! There was nothing wrong with my sentences. Read again:Have you any idea of the Monstrosity that you just said about Fukushima?
It can't be faulted. I was atentive, polite and very obliging. I successfully created the impression of being a jovial and caring person. Japanese people like that. What´s up, Roland folks? I hope the weather is fine in Hamamatsu. Mercifully, the pattern of prevailing winds during the Fukushima accident meant that most of the radioactive materials released from the plant were blown out to sea.
