Greetings to all from Ukraine :-)
I have just sold my Motif XS6 and I wish to buy FA-06 at the next week.
I just wanted to know is it possible to record audio via USB or only to the SD-card?

Re: Question about USB Audio
yes you can..I've been using my fa06 as my main usb soundcard replacing my scarlett..and it's surprisingly good enough.. there're drawbacks however..first, its resolution is only 44.1/24 so in some application like Protools you stuck with that resolution. Second, it's doesn't have an onboard phantom power, so you're limited to use a dynamic mic only..

Thanks for Your answer! I have Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 too and now I'm thinking about selling it.titopsoenardi wrote:yes you can..I've been using my fa06 as my main usb soundcard replacing my scarlett..and it's surprisingly good enough.. there're drawbacks however..first, its resolution is only 44.1/24 so in some application like Protools you stuck with that resolution. Re: Question about USB Audio
How do I set up my FA-08 so that it functions as an audio interface to play recorded tracks and VSTs? I'm on Windows 8.1 and the drivers have been installed and it shows up in Device Manager without any conflicts or issues. It also shows up in the list of assignable devices and it's currently set to be the main device, but no sound comes out of it. When I play the keyboard I get sound from it internally but trying to play something as a VST doesn't seem to do anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...!

Hey Realto619,
I assume you are using a DAW? And if you do so, did you assign the audio Out to Roland FA in your audio track?
Miyagi.

Re: Question about USB Audio
All you have to do is to install the appropriate driver. Then in the system menu go to general tab, and select MIDI+Audio for USB Driver option. That's it..
