I been messing around trying to do get aftertouch = Cutoff, assigned to the MOD wheel?
IE Turn off the vibrato on the mod wheel and set it to cutoff.
I am used to VSTi,s where it,s easy to that stuff. So are there an easy way to that on the Integra 7?
Thanks
Martin
ReAssign Aftertouch to MOD wheel?
Re: ReAssign Aftertouch to MOD wheel?
This sort of thing would normally be a function of your controller, not the sound module. Your controller normally sends CC1 messages from the mod wheel. If you can change that to CC74 in the controller, it should do what you want.
I am not an integra owner (yet), but I'm pretty sure that there is no way to map one midi message to another in the integra. I do have J80 and I know that there is no way to do way you are talking about in there. I use a Midi Solutions Event Processor to do stuff like that.
You might also try using a filter effect like super filter or wah. You can set the mod wheel to control the cutoff of those.

Re: ReAssign Aftertouch to MOD wheel?
Oh I don`t mean globally I want it on one sound/patch. I asked the question the wrong way.....
On some synths some of the patches are set to Filter on the MOD wheel other patches to Vibrato etc
But on the Integra 7 all of the patches seems to have it set to vibrato....
I really need to learn how to program synth sounds:)
I know I can do it in the MOD LFO section but I can quite get it to work right (Like I want it:)
Oh well I just have to dive in there and mess around a bit more.....
Anyway thanks for your reply

This is exactly like RayD said.
In order to Control a Part's Cutoff you should program your controller's MOD wheel to send a MIDI CC 74 message on the MIDI channel correspondent to the Part you want to control the Cutoff to.
Re: ReAssign Aftertouch to MOD wheel?
Thanks! Paulo - I got to learn the ins and outs of using hardware compared to software:)
Re: ReAssign Aftertouch to MOD wheel?
I think the easier option and would also teach more about programming....
Go into the integra and find what parameter is being controlled (modulated) by the aftertouch...then change that modulation source to cc01 (mod wheel)
