I have owned an Integra since Oct '12 and so far I have been extremely happy with all of their sounds (especially the strings) except the Brass and Sax sounds straight out of the box.
I am currently using the PCM sounds "Brass Sect" or "Royale" depending on what I am needing, but it has been very difficult to find that full sounding brass. I currently mix a solo SN Trumpet and SN Trombone along with them (TB for the lower part of the keyboard and TP for the upper part), but it is still thin. I really liked how the Fantom G had the Brass setup in the ARX-03 card.
Where you could choose the individual horns in the section. I am surprised that they did not do this with the Integra. There are SN Strings, but the I7 lacks any SN Brass. It would be greatly appreciated to hear what sounds, effects and technics that others use in this category of I7 sounds.
Thanks!

With sn5 and srx 10 and the preset sound one could make amazing sections..
Re: Integra 7 Brass Sounds
Yes, and they are very similar to the SN Solo Horns that are already on the main bank.hobbit wrote: Have you tried the ExSN5 expansion? No sections though, but still.
I love most of the individual solo horns (The trombone and Bari Sax could have more body), but I haven't found a good Brass Section to use for the base.
If I were to build a section out of single SN sounds, it would eat up polyphony like crazy.
Re: Integra 7 Brass Sounds
I have tried using a very short delay (and it helps), but it still seems to be missing the fullness.
With the Strings Section (which I realize that it is SN) you can hear multiple sounds that make it up and it adds depth. The brass section is supposed to be made up of multiple parts, but it still sounds like a flat single tone sound. It lacks depth.
