Help Please - USB Device not recognized

Post by Johann van Rensburg »

Hi Guys

Please help.

JUNGO-G with firmware ver 2.0

When connecting to my PC, it detects the new hardware and then come back with a message saying the device is not recognized. I uninstalled the drivers and installed gain, and noticed the USB driver is ver 1.0.0

If one updates the firmware, is there also a later version USB driver that needs to be installed.

I need to get both the editor and librarian working.

All help appreciated

THX in advance

What OS are you using? XP/Vista/Win7?

You could try going into the windows device manager and deleting it from the list (May come up as unknown device). Disconnect your keyboard, restart the computer and then when its back on try connecting the keyboard again.

Also, unless you have installed anything else you could do a system restore prior to when you tried installing it and try again.

Also, have you tried pressing the usb button and changing the mode of the juno to Midi?

THX - problem resolved. Turns out the USB cable was suspect. Changed it and all is fine now.

I am having similar troubles.... When I start up my Editor it says something about setup midi. I have been back and fourth from the usb midi section on the juno g back to my laptop. Is this a midi configuration thing if so I've tried the midi sw off on the juno and nothing happpens.

Basically all I want to do is use Sonar le to access and play the sounds from the juno and vise versa.
