Volume issues in Performance mode

I haven't figured this one out yet -

I set parts for a performance, layers, key ranges. Then after I have everything selected and set up, I try to balance the volumes betwwen the parts. Sometimes I can change any of them, other times they won't move from where they are, either on the 1st page of the "Part View" screen OR in the mixer screen.

It should depend on the Vo (Volume) status on the MIDI Filter page (Part View screen, F6). Where unchecked, it inhibits volume tweaking on those parts. I consider it a bug.

That can happen if you swap around or share midi channels between parts. Instead of adjusting Volume, try adjusting Output which does not go through MIDI but controls the Part directly instead.

Thanks - which screen would I find 'Output' or output for each part on?

Never mind - "Output Effect" screen - got it!
