bought my CP1 3-4months ago and very happy with my purchase.

you really need to sit down and play with the EQ's and the parameters to get the nice sounds out of the instrument. the sound is very editable (not sure wat marlboronegro meant by not being able to edit CP's sounds..maybe the CP5 has less editing features, not sure).

anyway, where the CP's shine is the EP imho. the CF piano's are very nice too and i enjoy playing it but the keybed is too light to be a real piano.

as far as acoustic piano sounds, i think the RD700GX-F is superior...plus the keybed is so much more piano-like. :) but the EP's are imho pretty cheezy.

The SV1 is actually not bad either. to me it's just not a commited instrument and more like a jack of all trades. i like how easy it is to edit the sounds though and the tube preamp overdrive sounds very nice for their Rhodes sounds. :p

next step for me is to get the Mark7. i think im at the limit of virtual synthesis for now (modeling) for both piano and tines. (use my VPiano for piano playing, and CP1 for EP playing).

IMO those editing ability of piano or EP sounds is very overrated, I have tried many different setting on my RD and never was 100% happy. Got some compromise but as you see despite of great keys action I'm thinking about the change.

The big advantage of SV1 is for me now the compact size and weight since I do some traveling and SV1 73 keys looks like perfect solution to me. Can take it practically everywhere with me.

delirium- i was talking about my CP, not RD as far as EQ's and editing... CP is very different from the RD. :D

i think for gigs the SV1 is very good. or buy my nord StageEX compact in the market place (if in the USA). hahaha!

HI!

Kenchan: I spoke of CP33, which is similar to cp50, indeed, "the CP5 keyboard is very light? I thought that this new wooden keyboard would be great!.

And you also have a V-PIANO?, Congratulations!

delirium: I agree, that a great solution for people who play loas 4 times a week are keyboards as the SV1 76-key, I insist on asking what happened to Roland?, if at least use the PHAIII in the Juno Stage I would buy it without thinking.

Greetings!
