Yammie Acoustic Piano V1.0 - FanX

Post by Cesarsound »

To much time spent on this project and finally I have finished it. This library has a fine Stereo Yammie S700 Acoustic Piano I have sampled and programmed for use on Fantom X. I have prepared 17 patches.

The result is very very impressive.

Note: UnRar the file (~84MB), copy the ROLAND folder to your CF Card, plug it on FanX, push SAVE/LOAD, F7 (load all samples) and then enter in PATCHE MODE or PIANO MODE. See the patches 1-17 on CARD area.

You can download it here (password is: ressonancia):

Any comments, let me know.

UPDATE: I have programmed 2 MONO Piano Patches (patches number 16 and 17). Now you have a total of 17 pathches on this library.

Hi Cesarsound,
I would like to test it, but it asks me for a Passphrase when uncompressing...

one question:
what would you do, if you only need a mono piano? take only the left samples, or the right ones?

because on stage i don't need stereo sounds and i would have more free space on my ram-module.
i've thought, i could mix the samples together to one mono wav-file, but i'm not able to do that, without loosing the perfect loop-points.

i want to use the 'ultimate yama' on stage! it's fantastic! :-)

Hi Anton,
It is easy to create a mono patche. Edit your favorite patche, like the UltimateYama, go to the wave list and change it to use only the the waves number 1 (soft), 3 (med) and 5 (hard) as mono. Then save this new patche.

Note that the original wave structure of this patche is:

Element 1:
1 (soft) - L
2 (soft) - R

Element 2:
3 (med) - L
4 (med) - R

Element 3:
5 (hard) - L
6 (hard) - R

Element 4:
5 (hard) - L
6 (hard) - R

Any doubt, let me know.

PauloF, thank you.

Julio Cesar.

But I know how can I move in patch mode. This is not a problem, but when you choose load all samples, so I loaded them into nice sampler, as I know only to those samples to assign the patch's 15 patches as you wrote. (This is my problem. When you select a menu utility, and select load patch / rhythm so I wrote that no file: (
