Fantom-G and Midi Controler as a master

Hello.

I try to use an Midi keyboard with the usb connexion to control the Fantom-G while recording. I think if I can do that, I might be able to use a virtual midi cable driver. How can I set it ?

Nope. Two different hardware devices can communicate via MIDI cables, but not USB. USB on controllers are only for going directly to a computer.

Do you mean if I use Midi cables I can control the recording of MIDI messages in real time using the sound card and my software sequencer ? What I need is : recording of the MIDI message recorded on my software sequencer on the Fantom-G. I saw that is possible in having the Fantom-G in MASTER mode with the USB connexion. So I will try. Thanks.
