thank U!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
I've just uploaded a Strat Guitar patch and Mp3 for you guys and gals, maybe it's close to the Shads sound, I'm not sure.
I also have a Live Set for bagpipes, the LH is at a lower volume and can replicate the drone - when in C you play C+G and keep it going throughout the song. RH of course for the melody.
Problem - I've tried to save the Live Set as a midi file for the patch but it keeps playing a piano sound. I've made the Mp3 as a sample of the sound and that's ok. Any suggestions regarding the Midi?
Spike

Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
hey guys,
I just uploaded a new version of the archive including a new look, faster usability, the possibility to add comments and a zip-archive containing all patches, which is updated once a month. As the site was developed from scratch, there might be some new bugs, please let me know if you discover any. I still have some ideas left (especially for multisamples) and will let you know when they are ready.
If any body here has some spare time or wants to support me, please help me to complete the FAQ-section so people don't have to ask the same questions here over and over.
Thanks for more than 45000 downloads by now.

Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
Hi nav,
great job!! And I thought, the project slept an endless sleep... Do you think it would be useful to have additional sections "Rhythm Patterns" / "Rhythm-Sets" / "Samples" or similar? Multisamples could be placed as *.akp (AKAI-S5000) files or as YASE-Project-files.
Just an idea.
greetings,
tastenmann

Hey Nav,
Your site is AWESOME... The participation of everyone here is INCREDIBLE... Congratulations on the good work !!!
I just have two quick questions... When I go to the site and check ALL Downloads I see this message: "This is an archive of all patches on this website excluding the multisamples"... Which are the multisamples?
The second question is regarding importing the files. Is there an easy way to load all 158 patches at once? Or I have to go one by one???
Not sure if it's possible and/or easy or not, My only suggestion is to either have the live/single patches separated on different ZIP files OR to at least add something on the name to make it easier to know where should I use it...
Again, GREAT JOB! Thanks so much !!!

Sorry for the delay, I'm really busy atm.
> Which are the multisamples?
I was planning to add multisamples to the latest release, but due to technical reasons I wasn't able to activate that possibility yet.

I currently know no other possibility than importing them one by one, sry.

Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
Fist off, thank you guys for being so kind to a guitar player I know sometimes in some forums we're not welcome, I ran across a couple. Everyone and everything has been a huge help in this forum.
I was going thru the patch library and heard some really cool stuff, great job.
Now I would like to take some and install on my Fantom G7.
Do I need to run Librarian on my computer or something to install or can I just do it via memory stick?
Gonna get the manuals out but for someone who doesn't know alot of what is talked about in them, it's tough to find what I need sometimes.
By the way, read a couple threads about memory stick problems, just want to let you know I use the SanDisk Ultra backups, I've used the 4GB, 16GB and 32GB, all seem to work fine.
Also ordered the DIMM memory from the OEM site you guys suggested, waiting for it to get here.
Thanks!

Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
Some posts in this thread and the faq-section in the archive explain how to get the patches to your fantom using the editor software.
Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
The Fantom G Editor works best for transfering patches.
It is really easy once you get the G connected to the computer and drivers installed correctly.

Absolutely. Although I think it should copy faster

Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
Nav? Is it possible in the future to upload a whole Project with multiamples and samples or maybe just a Project with patches and Live sets inside? There are some people like me who have many nice patches also samples and multisamples of my own production and some of us want to share this material with other people on this site and on Navarin but one by one patch is so much time needed to be done.i dont have that much time but I have many patches with high quality....
Re: Fantom-G open patch archive
@branko: I was thinking of that and my plan was to add this feature in the last release. There is just one problem: I will most likely get into trouble with my hoster as the site is currently hosted on a shared webspace. To solve this problem I was thinking of different solutions - my last was to use bittorrent for the multisamples so the site won't generate too much traffic. This could not be implemented by now due to technical reasons, but I hope I can do this in the near future. If one of you has a better idea - or webspace with an API I can connect to, to upload the files - please let me know.
