On, Off, Guitar? Guitar plugged into ME50 effects pedal

Post by lunitunez »

So I have my shecter electric guitar hooked up to my ME-50 effects pedal, which is plugged into the input of the fantom g. I had it set to GUITAR, but then noticed some wierd "clipping" issues, although it wasnt really pops just mild distortion. If guitar is hooked up via an effects pedal, would I have the switch in the back set to OFF, instead of GUITAR? I was checking the levels and they were around 12db I believe, so just one bar of YELLOW on occasion, so it was wierd because i didnt think that the levels indicated clipping was occuring so i figured I must be doing something else wrong. Thanks!

ME-50 has a line output, so you need to plug it into the line input on the G.

Yeah, the ME50 goes to the line inputs on the back of the G. I run my the L/R from my Pocket POD this way for gigs...works great.
