You want to make sure it is low density and not high density.

This is the place to get your memory.......I live in the UK and these guys were fantastic shipping it to me and it works great. Should be a no brainer if you are in the US.

I agree... this site isgreat.

I ordered a 512Mb card, and it arrived within 10 days from the USA.

I am in Western Australia....and cheap too... about 15% of the cost of the RRP from local Roland dealer.

I recommend the site.

Yes there is!!!

Press the Menu Button
Then go down to Input/Sampling

Then look for Skip Back Time

You can choose between Off, and between 5-40 seconds of skip back time.

Be sure to write (save) the settings once you chose what you like!!!

Just in case you want to reference it with the manual it's on page #302. It's in the System Settings Section.

Take Care. Enjoy your FG!

tnx spike
well what made me reply to this thread was noticing many 1GB RAM chips recommended for the FG. But i'll stick to your word - i was looking at this: http://cgi.ebay.com/512MB-RAM-memory-UPGRADE-ROLAND-FAN...
any feedback?
Cheers!
