Am I using the Fantom G to its full potential live?

Hi guys,

I've had my G for about 6 months now and it's fantastic overall. I got it mainly because I wanted to consolidate down to 1 keyboard for live use, using the live sets for different songs in my favourites banks. On the whole it works brilliantly, with all the different settings, transposes, key mappings, samples on pads etc being ready in an instant for the next song.

I wondered if you have any tips for live use that I may not be using? I'd like to get an idea of the ways you guys use your G live.

Most of our (electro-rock-indie) songs have several keyboard layers and have the keys split in at least one place for alternative sounds, also I use the pads to trigger samples or loops.

I must admit. I have never really explored the RPS side of things. I imagine I could benefit by recording a short chord sequence and applying it as a phrase to one particular key on the keyboard rather than a Pad, is that possible? That would be great to let my right hand play more complex parts alongside it.

I'd love to hear any ideas around these examples.
