Fantom XR - sample tools expansion available

Hi,

I've been meaning to post this. I have the Sample tools expansion (XR version) available for borrow.

1. Since this is Artemiy's site he'll have to agree to let us do this. If he says no then we'll take it off line.

2. Here is how it's going to work - Those looking for the upgrade must prove to me again that Roland will not sell it to you.

3. If the upgrade is no longer for sale from Roland and we have many people who want it then everyone will have to agree to "share" it. It will be on the honor system. I send it to someone then they will send it to someone, etc. Hopefully by the end I'll get it back.

4. I won't pay for shipping.

I looking for this Update too. But as download.
I wondered why isn't the update no as download aviable?
It is better for all peoples they are interessted for this update.
(and we/ you have no shipping-problems).

Why it is this not official aviable as Download-File from Roland direct?
No support of this?

I don't think just sending the data would work - I think it needs the PCMCIA card and the CF card to work.
Some kind of copy protection.

Can anyone verify this?

the cf card isn't the problem.
the os-updates, which are avaiable in the homepage, will work in the same way, or am i wrong? so it must work when i load the data on my cf card und put it into fantom xr.

I too have just purchased a Fantom XR with v1.03 on it... Is there any easy way to find or borrow this update? At this point I am willing to pay/do anything to get it.

If you are going crazy looking for the Sample Tools Update for your Fantom XR - Just give up, Call Roland and send it to the LA Service Center and pay $35.00 + Shipping. Mine took me 2 Weeks and it is better than ever!

Hey bsheedy! I know your post about the xr upgrade is rather old, but i was wondering is your offer still good? im new to this forum and the xr is my first peice of roland gear ever, and i really would love to get the fanx-up-1 as i am still runnig version 1.00 WOW!!! let me know. Thanx in advance!
