Juno-G, Juno Stage, Juno Di and Sonic Cell basically share the same sound engine. In the end it would be to hard to say that one sounds better then the other. You can check the sound list and see there's a lot in common there. So you basically should look at the diference in functions to find the one that suits you best.

Of course i take account also for this but in juno stage there is twice samplerom when compared juno g. and thinking what areas have better samples. but even juno g only few sounds what i tested are not nice worst on is flute.:( i think rolands weakest sound is most often is flute. other one is some hammond? sound i think but i dont need hammond sounds i think.

The doubled sample ROM of the Stage has to do with the 88 multisampled grand from fantom X - which it contains. There might be slight wave variations from one to another but they basically share the same soundset. I STILL don't know why they didn't put a SRX slot on the Di. A lot of people complained they don't need the JUNO-G sequencer but so far I don't remember anyone saying "I'm not gonna buy any SRX card for my JUNO-G".

i have both... the stage and the g....
i think the stage sounds much better than the G...
Sounds are more fresh, clear and natural on the stage compared to the G..
And the stage has about 400 more Patches than the G
The stage uses different converter chips...
To me thats two differebt synths...

Of course thats only my opinion...

I like the Juno-Stage much better than the G!!!

And the keyboard is much better to (half weight)...
The keyboard on the G sucks...
