Hi garytragic!
Does that happen at the same point/measure and beat or is it completely random?
Please be precise as possible.
Also, is your Fantom connected to an external device?
Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
Do you have a pedal connected or something obstructing your D-beam?

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
I have since discovered that it only happens on my custome project. I reverted back to the original, internal project, and using the same patches, patterns, the problem was not there!
Can't think what has happened, although 1 thing i have just noticed is that on my custom project (on usb memory) is missing several RPS sets, so I wonder if that is linked to why the 2 RPS sets that i DO have, are corrupt and causing this random error.
Any idea as to how I can copy all the RPS patterns from the interal 'original ' project to my custom usb project, therefore replacing my dodgy RPS sets, as well as filling the gaps of the missing ones...
You guys are awesome for trying to help me on this, hope i can return the favour one day...

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
Hello,
I am a french user of Fantom G6 and it appears I have a similar problem.
In fact, when I am playing on keyboard on different modes (single, live or studio), the sound can suddently be distorded (100 % modulation), but I haven't found yet where the bug comes from.
This often appears after 20 min to 1 hour playing on keyboad while switching different preset patches (ex: live mode prst), and/or switching pad mode, too.
I have ever signaled the problem to my roland dealer and the synthe was return to maintenance in roland center for about 1 mounth.
Two day ago, my roland fantom G6 came back with some potential defective weld fixed and a entire software updating (v 1.30 but I have ever done that before).
Today the bug is still here.
I don't know what I can do ( maybe asking for payback ? )
If anyone have some suggestions, I will happy to receive them.
best regards,
