Can't save songs, user area full

ok just to fill you in with some info first:

i currently have 126 songs saved on the user area, i'm guessing that's the limit.. because when i goto save a new file it says "USER AREA FULL!"

it won't let me save the new song until i go and delete an old one that i don't need anymore but i'm runnin out of old ones to delete...

so my question is, I have attempted to save it to my compact flash that's plugged into the fantom, but after i do that and then goto "load song" there is nothing on the compact flash card

any help?

The user area is 32 MB, which translates to roughly 100-120 songs. You need to expand your synth with a flash card, then you will be able to save more songs.

is this something different from the compact flash i have in the back? cuz when i tried to save songs to that it never really saves them, it says it does but when i go back to load from there, the card is empty

Yes, the compact flash card is what you need. However, if it doesn't work you should either format it again or try another card.

oh okay thank you! i have 1gb Qmemory cf card and i even formatted it again on the fantom and still the songs i attempt to save on there don't show up when i goto load

i guess i need a different card, any suggestions?

Are you sure you're selecting the card area when you're in the song loading screen?

yeah i select the card tab, and there's nothing in there everything is empty

Just try another card, maybe of smaller capacity, like 512 MB. Sandisk should work well.
