All these years I have been doing multisamples manually in the Fantom?
I wonder why I havent seen this one ever before?
Thanks to Henrik Grek (the programmer) and to turbopage for sharing this!

Re: free sample editor
Hey thanks guys!
Fantastic one.
Fantastic one.
Re: free sample editor
In the documentation for version 1.25 it can be read:
Does multisample import/editing really not work on Fantom X?
That would be a pity!
Do I understand this right?MULTI-samples are not supported in FantomX, so you should not try to import these.

Re: free sample editor
Wow! This is great stuff! I can't believe I've never seen this before... Have to check it out after work. Does this mean you no longer have to import samples?
Re: free sample editor
Hello unifaun
MULTI-samples is not a reference to multiple samples connected to key zones. From the context I deduced that is with respect to multi-channel samples (for instance 5.1 or DTX) versus mono or stereo samples.
Have a nice day,
Gabriel

Re: free sample editor
Hi folks, I have translated the document for this nice little program into German.
Have fun!
Have fun!
Contact Henrik?
I'd like to add 2 new features to the editor:
- Read original key from wav/aiff file
- Auto-create assignments like Fantom when creating multi-sample with multiple samples selected.
I'd love to get the source and add this. Anyone knows how to contact Henrik?

Re: free sample editor
I am not computer friendly at all, but I really do want to learn how to use this program. If someone could put a tutorial on you tube I would love them forever. Just a thought...
Re: free sample editor
Does anyone else notice it doesn't retain the original key?
Reason why I'm thinking about recreating (or modifying if I could contact Henrik). If I have a lot of samples it takes a lot of time to re-assign the original key to each sample.
Otherwise great program.

Re: free sample editor
I created a new sample import tool as I couldn't contact Henrik. I finished wav import and create auto multi-sample (same as Roland's msample create and no individual edit at this point).
The wav import supports a smpl chunk and extracts original key and loop info (first point and if available in file). If there's no info it tries to extract it from last characters of the filename.
Missing is still aiff import. If anyone has description on AIFF or API let me know.
I can make it available once I've done a bit more testing.

Re: free sample editor
Damn that looks really nice! Let us know when there is a version to download... In the meantime, can someone tell me how you get samples into the source section. I know this may sound ignorant, but I just can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance.
