Studio pictures with Fantom G

Jessej I would assume you're right about that being a mix studio, I can't imagine anyone would design a tracking studio with the desk facing away from the live room.

Afternoon jesse

Running them all seperate. Both Rolands through my 550 amp and the KARMA and the Alesis through an old fender stack. I use the karma to fill guitar and background and use the G for lead piano, strings ETC.
Pink Floyd sets use the alesis and the JV-90
The KARMA actually makes it quite easy to do some practally impossible things. I just start my key sequence and tweak the knobs while using my right hand on the G

better to put in on a small box or something on the floor ... that way if it spills, you've only got a mess on the floor ... not in your synth ...

Nice setup Audio96, looks like you are at the verge of overflooding your rig thou..

Is there a particular reason to still use the DR-880? Is there something onboard it that the G can't replace? Interested to know...

I bought there DR-880 about 3 years ago. It's got some nice features like automated fills and ghost notes. It also has some EZ compose features that allows you to create new beats pretty easily. Having 3 kids, I haven't had as much time with the DR-880 as I would like.

RE: overflooding? Not sure what you mean. All Roland gear?

Overflooding like in.. I have been looking at studio furniture and stand pictures all evening here and your workspace also looks like it only need one more piece of gear and you need to find a new solution too...

I have a nice home setup here now, but I am not totally satisfied with the ergonomics yet.

On the other side of the room I have the same setup with a RD-500, MC-80 Sequencer, (Yamaha) TG-33 and DR-660. All "vintage" gear.

My room/office is about 12X13.

I used to have an Ultimate Stands 3-tier stand with a bunch of stuff on it but decided to lower everything to desk level.

Here is an older photo before I did some re-arranging. Some of the stuff I sold.
