Thanks, Cromio, for making these patches available. These 'labor of love' efforts are much appreciated!

could anybody explain, how to copy the patches from http://www.roland.com/V-Synth/Patches/patch_Gene1.html to V-synth so that they would sound as in preview please?!!!
for instance I copy acoustic piano to internal.prj, then import it to a free slot having deleted one of the factory patches, but it sounds like some senseless noise. I found 054 Ac.Piano A-M.w00 wave, supposing that it is associated with this patch but when copying to waves in V-synth it says 'unknown disk error'

What can be done with that? thanks!

are you using version 1 or 2?
the waves reference those in internal memory
if you are using v2 these waves are no longer there!
what I did to try to recreate the patches was through re-sampling the waves
mind you that v1 had some patches that used multi sampling
this was only possible with patches specifically made by Roland
v2 doesn't have this anymore

I use 2.0
if I finally manage to copy the relevant wave - will it sound as it should?
Otherwise some patches are of no much use, though I didn't try all yet

but the manual says that if a patch is based on a certain wave, this wave automatically goes with this patch when you install it into the V

V-Synth v 1-51 Patches Re-packed

Post by PauloF »

Guys,
Thanks to Cromio we have access to these V-Synth v1-51 Patches, and following that, I thought about testing all of them on my V-Synth XT v2.02 and to Re-pack them by Category in order to be used by everyone.
These are the ones that I considered as usable, and I can guarantee that all of them are working on a V-Synt XT v2.02

They are in total 319 Patches and 574 Wav files, and due to their size, I've created 3 different Projects:

**V1-51Project_1.prj that contains the following Patches**
001-038: SYNTH
039-068: LEAD
069-123: PAD_STRINGS
124-162: VOX_CHOIR
163-184: PIANO_KBD
185-219: BASS_GUITAR
220-230: WINDS
231-250: BELL_MALLET
Go to the following Link and run the Self-Extractor:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/hz2gjjjtj ... _1.prj.exe

**V1-51Project_2.prj that contains the following Patches**
001-048: MELO_SEQ
049-091: RHY_SEQ
092-115: ARPEG
Go to the following Link and run the Self-Extractor:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/zmmmnytgk ... _2.prj.exe

**V1-51Project_3.prj that contains the following Patches**
001-039: FX_AMBI
040-052: ETHNIC
053-057: DRUM_PERC
058-068: COMBI_OTHERS
Go to the following Link and run the Self-Extractor:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/qmnyzjwky ... _3.prj.exe

I hope this would be of some help
Take Care
