VA synth in the Fantom G?

I see from the pics provided by piaknowguy (awesome!), that there is a 'solo synth' linked to the d-beams; what can be said about this synth? How many waveforms, and also; is it possible to play this synth using the keyboard?

The solo synth is the same as it was on the X, 2 osc VA synth that cna only be controlled by the D-Beam. Offers only Saw or Square waves if I recall correctly.

Since alot of people will probably view this post, what most people want, I think, is an ARX series VA board - i.e. ARX-03 - Analog Modeling expansion for Fantom-G.

Well, but the Fantom G does in fact offer a VA synth nonetheless Maybe one could lobby for the expansion of this technology? Some more waveforms + control via the keyboard should be doable without too much hassle. Right?

I mean, coupled with the G's effects and filters, it should be possible to get some awesome sounds out of it.

yes please, if they added keyboard control to the monosynth that would have been great! Actually I can't see why they didn't in the first place

the reason they didn't is because it would make the sh-201 redundant.
