Yeah I thought I'd seen this before!
Re: MORE JUNO-G BUGS ON VIDEO!
I have a Juno G and it's an amazingly capable machine, a few badly programmed presets (the cause i think) are a small price to pay.

Re: MORE JUNO-G BUGS ON VIDEO!
I was going to get a Juno G but got a FX6 instead just because it has pattern recording nice colour display and multi sampling other than that I think the soundset on the juno g is really good and I am tempted to get one for live use. It has much better anologue type sounds than the FX IMHO

Re: MORE JUNO-G BUGS ON VIDEO!
I have never found a Juno-G with this behaviour. I have just tested one and was unable to reproduce this and I believe that the owner is just calling "bug" to malfuctioning knob.
Re: MORE JUNO-G BUGS ON VIDEO!
I agree, the sunth sounds on the Juno are very good indeed. I found the Fantom slightly lacking in this respect, after a while you notice that many of the pads use the same easily spotted waveforms.
The Juno is a bit of a pain to program with the small screen, but coming from the fantom it's not too bad as the synth engine is the same and much easier to learn on the large colour Fantom screen.

Yes, it seems a malfunctioning knob. Never noticed this on the Juno-G I had for a year, and believe me I am THE knob tweaker

Re: MORE JUNO-G BUGS ON VIDEO!
The 'bug' is real, I tested it on mine and it's really odd. I played PR-F35 'Syn strings' and used the hold pedel to systain the sound. I can move the cutoff and it operates smoothly. However if i set the sutoff to a certai point with the knob, wait a few seconds and then turn the knob the cutoff frequency jumps even though the cutoff freq has remained the same sice you last turned the knob.
It's asif the scaling of the cutoff knob changes over time, so if you leave it a while and adjust it again then the knob posision is scaled differently so the current position is a different cutoff frequency to when you set it a few seconds ago.
Can't honestly say it bothers me though, and I've only noticed it on one patch.

I wrote Roland Brazil
They answered me that it's (supposed to be) a feature, not a bug. If you hold still for 3 seconds, the knobs are 'protected' so that if you bump accidentally into a knob, it won't do anything unless you turn it significally. You can see this in the video: he turns for a while without any effect, and only after like 45° it works all the way, making this strange jump in the sound.
If you ask me, it's either a poor excuse or it is a terrible bad 'feature'!
