Favorite piano patch for live classic rock

Post by crockbob »

I have not been able to find a piano patch on the Fantom X7 or SRX-07 board (even with modifying the effects) that I really like for performing live classic rock? What piano patches are your favorites for live rock, and how have you modified them?

There's a patch I have called Badmamajamma. It rocks.

Where did the Badmamajamma patch come from?

Crockbob,
I have to agree , I am happy with a couple of the pianos for ballads E.T.C but I am still not loving my X8 for playing rock piano . My old RD 500 was a great board for this type of piano sound . I have tried to tweak the piano with the EQ and other effects but I end up making it sound worse than the factory presets ? Any ideas on how to create a great rock piano patch would be appreciated.
Jon.

Now that you mention it:
I like beautiful piano sounds: do you recommend SRX 02/11.
Do they the offer same level of piano sounds, as FX preset sounds?

I use preset 007 SingUsASong from the SRX-11 live on stage with a five-piece band for classic/80s rock piano and it cuts nice. Not too brittle, not too tangy.
