hey guys,
i just stumbled upon this problem tonight.
Everything sounds fine going in on my audio track, but when i play it back it's slowed down, almost like an octave. My key is set at "0" and nothing else changes. Any ideas what setting does this?

hey alistair..
basically, I have a song that is laid out with pattern call.
I wanted to add a vocal track on the 1st audio track. I sing, and record it, everything is fine. When i play it back with the song the vocals are slow or off. I didn't do anything with the key parameter, and as far as i can tell, in the new audio track sample parameter, everything is right.. I have tried this numerous times, and everytime, it takes my vocal take and plays it back like it's warped or slowed down.

Re: artemio? help with audio track playback speed
Did you change the tempo of song? Make sure the tempo is same as when you recorded it.
Samples can be tempo synced in Fantom, and they are autostreched.
--------------------
Remember that there are only 3 MFX + 1 Reverb + 1 Chorus in Fantom-S/X and you have to share them across 16 parts (patches) in a song.

Audio Tempo
I'm having the same problem but i'm convinced it's linked to tempo in my case. I usually have bar 1 at a fast tempo to transmit all the midi data then the slower song tempo at bar 2. If i record audio like this it is completely out of sync. If i don't have any tempo changes it's fine. I would like to get round this stretching of the audio if possible. Don't know if there is a setting somewhere to turn automatic stretching off??
