Had my Fantom 7 on the lower tier of a Deltex Ultimate stand. The square tubular arms are a loose fit in their sockets, so plenty of slop and I can be guilty of playing with heavy hands. The problem seems to occur when Zone 1 slider has been left near zero ; as I play, I'm guessing some vibration is causing the fader to refresh/change the volume. Anybody else had this ?
I've swapped it across to an older X-stand and altered the slider behaviour in System to 'catch up'. Does it seem like I'm applying a sticking plaster (band-aid) to solve a technical fault ?

Re: Zone 1 Volume suddenly drops ...
There's a software workaround: If you don't need to adjust the volume of the Zone in a Scene while playing, then use Menu -> Zone Edit -> Assign Slider -> Off for Zone 1 and the slider will be turned off and won't affect the sound in any way even if it moves. Don't forget to save the Scene after making the edit.StickyTheStick wrote: ↑21:16, 29 November 2021 Had my Fantom 7 on the lower tier of a Deltex Ultimate stand. Thanks for the tip , am going to try that ... much appreciated .
Re: Zone 1 Volume suddenly drops ...
I've had problems with a few of the physical knobs "jumping around".
A tiny squirt of CRC 2-26 and then working it in solves the problem.
CRC 2-26 has been around for at least 40 years and is plastic safe. It says on the can that it "improves electrical properties" and that is a true statement. The slider is just a knob stretched out electrically so the results will be the same.

Re: Zone 1 Volume suddenly drops ...
I only use the keys when playing my Fantom and all knobs are turned fully left and all sliders fully down (except USB when recording to a laptop).
If you do as I do, no need to have the sliders at any mid point risking any vibration happen to alter any.
Just select the scene, move the sliders fully down, WITHOUT SAVING leave the scene, then back to it and that is it.
Should you need to change later the volume of a zone, simply touch its number on the screen and move the jog wheel.
Or select the MIXER and use knob E6 (level) after selecting the zone.
