Is my TR8S tap/drum pad defective?

Hello all,

I'm looking for some input from other TR8S owners...

I have managed to get my hands on one TR8S and I'm absolutely loving it but I have possible issues with my Drum/Tap Pad sensitivity. Finger drumming on the center of it does almost nothing. I need to firmly press it with a lot more force then I'm used too, to get it to register anything. Tapping two fingers on both far sides of the pad will mostly work and gets the job done, but still it's not very sensitive.

Is my unit bad or is it normal for the TR8S?

This is "normal" behaviour. The velocity pad is pretty much unusable for me..

Mine responds ok, its hard to get responsive variation out of it but it is definitely very usable. Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity in Utility?
