Can someone make some 'the prodigy" patchs ???

Post by Vampiro »

i know liam howlett is a big fan of roland gear !
i've, accidentaly, make a patch in my FG7 trying to make a reeese bass for a drum'n'bass track sounds like a 90's prodigy sound !
can some of the forums users make "volontary" prodigy style patchs ?
i don't want to use it in my track but only learn what it's all about

thx

In the first three albums, Liam indeed used a lot of Roland gear like W-30 workstation and JD-990 module. However, most of his sounds, and especially now, are sampled/processed stuff from other people's recordings (like many 60s-70s rock and funk bands).

Some of his JD-990 sounds are quite easy to create on the G. Like the lead line from Voodoo People, can be emulated with a square (or saw) wave with a resonant filter going into a booster. Or the Scratch My Itch Up lead which is a saw with a resonant filter and falling envelope, into a booster, and then added chorus.
