Post by INCOGNEETO »

This is seriously a dumb question but i cant figure it out.....i make beats by mute the different tracks, and i usually use 4 bar loops.......i now want a melody that is gonna be 8 bars....but in order for me to play the 8 bar melody, i have to change all the other tracks that are 4 bars to 8 bars......how do i do this....any easy way to extend the 4 bar loop to 8????????..............i know this is the stupidest way to make beats but its the only way i know.........any help will be great ......thanks ...incog..........1

If your 4 bar loop is at track 1 and goes from measure 1-4...

Just copy/paste measure 1-4 to measure 5. You'll create another 4 bar loop starting at measure 5.

Hey Incog...

Your question is not stupid in my book.

I just got my FS 2 weeks ago. Reading answers to questions like yours is really helping to shorten my learning curve... at least for "general operation". There is a lot to grow into with this Keyboard. I'm mainly a guitarist and got the Fantom S to help me lay down more (better sounding) tracks vs. my 4-track sequencer DR-5 drum machine. My FS is a dream come true... I've wanted a great synth like this for a few years :-)
