i like to make drum beats using the arpeggio creator.
i record beats i make into patterns to repeat them in my songs
the only problem i have is that the patterns dont play smoothly as if i was just holding a key down using the arpeggio.
instead, one extra tiny fraction of a beat is included, which is not supposed to be there, making it not play smoothly
how can i go about fixing this? thanks

You should use input quantize when you record arpeggios/rhythm patterns into patterns.
Weird but true.
If you record without input quantize and look at the recorded data in the event list you can see the notes are a few ticks off.

21 ticks on my Juno, as I remember. This is not nice...
If you see the Warran Harris video on ROLANDUS, he use this procedure, without talking about "few ticks off". Liyer!!!
After seeing this video I wanted to buy the Juno.
