hi there, does the fantom have the same cosm effects like the ones in the v-synth? sidebandfilters?
and...
what do you think, is the fantom as good as kontakt? i´m more the hardware guy, and i think about getting me a fantom xr...
COSM ? and NI Kontakt ...
Re: COSM ? and NI Kontakt ...
Fantom has COSM in MFX section. V-Synth has COSM in both MFX and also as polyphonic processors synthesis section. On MFX level, both V-Synth and Fantom have a similar set of effects, but I find Fantoms have some more interesting stuff like Infinite Phaser and Lo-Fi compressor. But V-Synth is the only one to have the amazing Sideband Filters and other stuff in the synth engine.hi there, does the fantom have the same cosm effects like the ones in the v-synth? sidebandfilters?
Can't really tell you... Fantoms are more hands-on samplers, Kontakt is more advanced but also more complex to use. You can pack your XR with some stuff and then go to a gig without a computer, this is an advantage. It's hard to compare hardware with software, you gotta use the best suitable selections of bothwhat do you think, is the fantom as good as kontakt?

@fs1r: I know what you mean, everything from NI sounds like WOW!!! I love it too! But you need a fukcing computer to make music with it
Waiting for the first NI-Synth...
