The lack of Akai sample support. This was basically a fraudulant claim by Roland to say that you could load Akai samples into the Fantom. It just doesnt work and has been the only and yet a huge disappointment to me. Otherwise, I love my Xa.

You forgot to mention that it doesn't even support Roland's own sample libraries - crazy. This is the only reason I'm considering dumping my XR in favour of an XV5080.

my biggest beef with my x6 is that the pads are pretty inconsistent in terms of being able to use them for drumming.

they hit at inconsistent levels and are a pain in the ass to use when I'm trying intricate 1/32 scale patterns.

graded against the quality of the mpc2000xl, I'd give these pads a 3 or a 4 out of 10.

Patch titles- let's face it some of them are pathetic.

ie...

CloneZone, Flaredtrouzers (some lame electric piano patch) or the dreaded Bag Lead.

As well as the V-link, the way the file and folder system is organized and Piano mode, for my purposes is pointless.
