Post by INCOGNEETO »

very simple question, i'm sure there is an easy answer!
basically, say i have a 4 bar loop...and i am using 6 tracks.....track 2 is a kick, but i want it fuller, so i want to layer it......

now, the question is this......how do i layer it?........i want the same exact drum (with all the twaking that i did to it-ACSR) do i copy and paste it to a different track....or is there way to layer it on the same track????......help pease...thanks

Easiest way would be to just copy that track to another track. Then tranpose the notes to trigger a different kick. Then just use the volumes of each track to blend them. Providing you have a spare track ofcourse.

Hope this helps

Or,,, go to Patch edit, and copy the same 'kick' waveform that is on tone 1 over to tone 2...then when u trigger that kick, there will be two kicks soundin off, providing that 'fuller' sound you're after.... And once u record, it will be recorded on the same track.. this maybe your solution...I hope!

This should be the EASIERST way! ;-)

Oh,,and make sure the 'DB' is [+12] on both waveforms... if not, or if u have one set [+12] and the other at [+06], or somethin off, u wont get that desired effect of 'fuller'..........
