Hey Artemio,i've got a problem

What up Art this is Arthur with another ?uestion. I just bought a new laptop w/xp sp2 and every so often when i hook it up to transfer files it would would say removablbe device instead of the fans card and when it does that i can't transfer files and it asks if i want to format the card . what do you think the problem may be?

Did you install any special drivers for your Fantom? If no, then maybe you should try (they are on the shipped CD or at Roland.com Fantom-X downloads page). If you did, then maybe try uninstalling them, as XP has standard USB storage drivers which generally work.

But anyway, I do not use Win XP so I cannot really help you here, but I think some XP users will tell you about the solution.

I have a Dell laptop and a Desktop (I built my self) both with XP SP-2.

Make sure that if you have Version 2.0 OS, that ure using version 2.0 of the Editor and Driver.

If you dont have version 2.0. Then make sure you install the oder version of the Editor. Both Versions are on the Roalandus website.
