I wrote I was in the mood to continue my recent Roland re-activation of my Roland Cloud subscription to continue to enjoy obviously enhanced VSTi versions of the D-50, Juno, Jupiter... SRX Orchestra... the Acoustic Drums... and Roland E-Mailed the functional Roland Cloud Manager, the earlier version, for my HP i7 8GB 1T laptop with Windows 10... VSTi's are AWESOME: no mechanical failure of the hardware, and no failure of components, no accidental damage of the hardware... there is no hardware! Until you use- and add your Pro Digital Audio Workstation signal processing to the VST and VSTi versions, you will never realize the extremely highest quality of the Sounds, the Sounds are multiple layers of musical instruments... the SRX Orchestra Orchestra presets are multiple samples of multiple performance articulations... multiple samples of customizable dynamically controllable changing multiple layers of multiple performance layers of Orchestral musical instruments, sections, not merely Strings... in the D-50 preset Pizzagogo, too! The obvious became obvious, I had to at least put Roland VST and VSTi versions to the Test, compared to my most expensive, highest quality VSTs and VSTi's from ProjectSam, Orchestral Tools Metropolis Ark 2 and 4, spitfireaudio.com Strings, Native Instruments VSTs and Instruments, SERUM Softsynth, OP-X Pro II Softsynth, and many others: when you perform many of the Roland SRX Orchestra presets in the piano-mezzo forte dynamic range, the audio quality of the musical instruments multisamples in fully controllable layers of the orchestral musical instruments, multiple performance articulations of the musical instruments is of the very same highest professional music production quality and audio quality as the biggest names in VST and VSTi IN THE WORLD. The obvious D-50 stack for me: stack Fantasia and Pizzagogo... then I added an SRX Orchestra Flutes and Piccolo preset to the stack... and one of my most expensive, highest quality Choir VST Instruments! As for the Roland Cloud Acoustic Drum Kit, fully optional and fully programmable for fully controllable SF2/gate sample sound on-/off with midi keyboard controller for each sample will be AWESOME! Thank you for the compliment. I have been giving advice and recommendations since I was a Child, at Trade Shows in NYC when I realized this is the perfect time and place to make new product suggestions... at least new product innovations... one representative of one of the biggest boat manufacturers said to me, "...we have ideas, yet we can not, by the terms of our employment, make suggestions...", I already knew the employees of many of the biggest businesses are often limited to not divulge company information, and not to make suggestions to improve products, not even for new products (my Father was a Zenith Electronics technician for approximately 30 years). They applied my suggestions, in fact, most manufacturers did... there were private individuals I advised for employment opportunities (nearly 100% were successful), and advised Civil Servants to apply for U.S. Federal Subsidies, then received in Cash within ten (10) business days. Others asked, "Why don't you take some of your own good advice?"... I said, "...oftentimes you need professional advisors as references for professional opportunities you can not obtain and attain on your own. I advise individuals when I realize they have the advisors for references, others with opportunities as functions of their offices, positions....". After all of these years, during the Spring/Summer 2018 and 2019, I was recruited by one of the huge Music software developers in the U.K.: he E-Mailed three (3) professional positions... 3-4 times! KORG recruited me during Spring/Summer 2019 to program! I have a Degree, with very recent recommendations for advanced Degree Programs, but I am older, middle-aged, and, recently, during early 2019, had major surgery after an accident, slipped on ice, now with prosthetic implants in my leg, with another surgery in less than a week. I now receive higher benefits, fully including Disability, and my own Registered Nurses if- and when I request up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 6 months at a time. I still love Music Theory and Composition (I reviewed the 300+ "Classical" Music Manuscripts in the New York Public Library branch at Lincoln Center for approximately 15 years, until my 30th Year, and lecture, informally, online, and love my Synthesizers... VSTi and VST Technology. VST and VSTi programmers often advise reprogramming procedures in E-Mail customer support, so I am very up to date in Microsoft Windows (I bought my HP i7 8GB 1T laptop during July 2019, followed with live customer support necessary from Microsoft, KORG, and Steinberg, KORG and Steinberg even updated and E-Mailed drivers for Windows 10). I program-produce New Music 3-4 hours x 2-3 times a day/night neraly every day/night! The quality of the Roland Cloud VST and VST Instruments products is mind-blowing, the Modulations with Filter/Sweep Modulations with your dynamic articulation on midi music keyboard controllers... with many other effects/multieffects, too... is better in the VSTi updated and enhanced versions of the analog synths and new digital synthesizers sample sounds... in SRX Dance Trax, click Edit if you would like only THE very best digital synthesizers sample sounds... you can Edit for your own custom keyboard splits, layers... with SRX Dance Trax rhythms anywhere on your midi music keyboard controller... SRX Orchestra is AWESOME, so is the D-50... System-8 is AWESOME! ...sometimes, some Roland Cloud VSTi programs overload even my HP i7 8GB 1T laptop CPU... product updates with shorter-to-very short file path names for sound libraries of VST Instruments, to say the least, and the CPU will no longer overload, from when I received instruction to re-write file path names for UVI Orchestral Suite in early 2016. There are other re-programming procedures to relieve CPU usage. When I was in my 20s during the 1980s, I loved the Jupiter and JX-3P, to say the least... I loved editing and programming of the sounds within seconds, something I do with my VSTi versions in Roland Cloud! The D-50 was never in the Music Shops in- and around New York City... not even on 48th St.! I did not know the D-50 was so widely used... I knew a few D-50 owners... I was impressed... yet ended up with an S-50... I paid $1,750.00 in Cash. I love to give feedback for New Products because businesses often respond with improved products and new products from my suggestions with three (3) months! An improved- or new product is more valuable to me than money for an improved- or new product not yet available because money received instead of a new product innovation or invention can not buy the product version or product I would love, with realization others will love. I continue to buy all of the best professional Music production products! ...and, you know the Board Members of the biggest businesses are often paid little-to-no money, many receive Stock... many do not... they enjoy their highest positions as Advisory Board Members, Board Members, Consultants... for Entrepreneurial Vision nevertheless! As you know, the biggest businesses on the Stock Market often barter assets... land and equipment... and supplies... instead of money!
