Fantom X losing audio

Hi all,

I've had a couple of occasions recently when late through a gig or rehearsal my Fanxom X has simply stopped making any sound. The buttons all work as they should and in every other way it functions normally otherwise.

It seems to be in one particular band's gigs or rehearsals where I do a lot of Patch changes. It's almost like it gets tired or confused :) Switching it off an on again sorts it out, but obviously, that leaves 40-odd seconds of silence in the middle of a gig.

Has anyone experienced this?

I've just backed up all my sounds and done a factory reset, so I'll see how it goes in my next rehearsal.
If it does cut out again, I'll try the 3/4 outputs and the headphones to see if it's the main outs, but if it were those, I would expect some crackle, not just a sudden cutoff of the sound.

did you ever figure it out? this forum kinda a ghost town but I ahve the same issue but 100% no audio

Hi, I never figured it out, but the issue has gone away, probably since the factory reset.

I was still actively gigging with my X7 until late last year. Now, it stays at home except for one band's occasional gigs because I can't be bothered to re-program all their setups onto my new synth! 🤣
