could anyone tell me, are there 64 Samples in total or for each scene after the update v 1.1?

As far as I can make out it's 64 samples in total. You'll have to load in a new 64 via a bulk select and shift function currently - and it's not that quick either. Here's hoping there'll be a multi-sampling feature that auto loads to the FLASH RAM on boot up if it's ever implemented. The sample load at start up seems to be a lot faster than when you do it manually, but that might be because they're busy loading during the 40 second or so startup splash.
You can however assign all 64 notes to the keyboard on a dedicated MIDI channel of your choosing so it's a multisampler of sorts. The pads themselves don't transmit velocity though, so the keyboard is you better option generally anyway.

Agreed. As of right now it looks like you can only load/use 64 samples total for all scenes at all times. This is a significant limitation that needs to be remedied.

It spoils the concept of a modeless workflow and a step backwards compared to the FA-Series
I hope they will add scenewise samples with a latter update.
Only 64 global samples is a gimmick.
My Wishlist:
- scenewise 64 samples with the possibility to quantize the trigger to next bar or measure
- timestrech / pitchshift (MC 707)
- multisamples
- saving complete temporary area within a scene (no need to save an altered tone in tone bank)
- loading MIDI File into Arpeggio (like FA)
- 8 or 16 real Audio tracks
I would pay if I can also get JX-8P, ...
